Coats MAXX50 Electric Table Top Tire Changer (110V)

The Coats MAXX50 Electric Table Top Tire Changer (item # 080MAXX50-110) is a 110V rim-clamp tire changer for car and light truck wheels. It handles external rim diameters from 6" to 24", rim widths up to 16", and tire diameters up to 50". Four air-cylinder-operated rim clamps hold the wheel on the tabletop. A hand-control bead loosener up to 22" wide breaks the bead. Mounting and demounting use a swing-away arm with a nylon duckhead.

Coats tested the MAXX50 chassis to 250,000 bead-breaking cycles. A high-pressure dual-nozzle bead sealer increases airflow; Coats says it seals tough beads twice as fast. Techs don't need to index the tabletop when working on large assemblies, which cuts down on pedal presses.

The MAXX50 can be upgraded as a shop grows. Coats offers add-on tool heads, including the Robo-Arm and Robo-Roller, and a bead-loosening foot pedal.

This is the 110V electric version of the MAXX50. For an air-motor drive, choose item # 080MAXX50-A.
