Coats Hybrid Duckhead Mount/Demount Head

Coats Hybrid Duckhead Mount/Demount Head is a two piece design that combines the advantages of the traditional plastic and metal mount/demount heads into a no compromise mount/demount device exclusive to Coats. The lower profile and rigidity of the metal minimizes deflection and provides a strong leverage point for the operator to safely lift the bead when demounting a tire. Unlike traditional demount tails, the adjustable plastic mounting tail can be positioned to conform to the rim to mirror the wheel's radius. This feature places the tire in an optimal position for tire installation while providing bead damage protection during the mounting process.
