Corghi ET1680 TruckLine Touchscreen Truck Wheel Balancer (077ET1680)

The Corghi ET1680 TruckLine is an advanced touchscreen wheel balancer for truck wheels. Corghi says it suits heavy-duty, light, off-road, and car wheels. It has a large 22" touchscreen with an intuitive graphical interface, a Smart Arm Plus measuring system, and an integrated low-profile pneumatic wheel lift for wheels up to 660 lbs (300 kg).

A low-speed balancing cycle reduces spin times, minimizes risks from moving parts, and saves energy. At the end of each spin, Direct Positioning (DPA) automatically sets the wheel in the correct balancing position. An electromagnetic brake makes cleaning the rim and applying weights easier.

Key Features:

  • 22" touchscreen monitor. Its graphical interface simplifies program selection and balancing.
  • Smart Arm Plus. It measures distance and wheel diameter up to 30" automatically.
  • Fast Selection Program (FSP). It activates the right balancing program automatically.
  • LaserBlade pointer. It improves accuracy and visibility when identifying the inner planes of the rim.
  • Low-speed spin and measuring system. It shortens spin times and saves energy.
  • Direct Positioning (DPA). It stops the wheel at the balancing position after the spin cycle, with no intermediate stops.
  • Electromagnetic brake. It simplifies cleaning, weight application, and wheel mounting and demounting.
  • Integrated pneumatic wheel lift. It is a low-profile, hand-operated lift with no pedals, rated for wheels up to 660 lbs (300 kg).
  • Rotating weight tray. Multiple compartments hold weights and tools, with a one-touch multifunction button.
  • Inclined front. It gives easier access to the inside of the rim.
  • Space-saving wheel guard. It allows placement along a wall and handles wheels up to 52" in diameter.
  • Programs. It has 7 balancing programs for alloy truck and car rims (Dynamic, Static, Hidden Weight), 2 working environments, multi-operator use, Opt Flash imbalance optimization, and AWC.
  • Weight Management Plus. This suite of programs optimizes weight placement to use less material.
  • USB software updates.

Optional Diagnostic Upgrades:

  • AWD sonar (8-21100293/90). It measures wheel width automatically, with no contact.
  • RRS-W Radial Runout Sonar Wheel (8-21100300/90). It measures tire radial runout.
  • RRS-R Radial Runout Sonar Rim (8-21100301). It measures rim radial runout.
  • LRS-W Lateral Runout Sonar Wheel (8-21100302). It measures tire sidewall lateral runout.
  • BestFit and Fast Matching. With the sonar kits installed, BestFit shows the point of greatest deviation for hub positioning. Fast Matching calculates the best tire-to-rim match-mount, and it requires the RRS-W and RRS-R kits.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is the Corghi 077ET1680?
It is the Corghi ET1680 TruckLine, a touchscreen wheel balancer for truck wheels with an integrated pneumatic wheel lift.

Can the ET1680 balance car wheels too?
Yes. Corghi says it suits heavy-duty, light, off-road, and car wheels. It has separate balancing speeds for cars (100 RPM) and trucks (80 RPM).

What is the maximum wheel size and weight?
Wheels up to 52" in diameter and 660 lbs (300 kg). Rim settings run from 10"–30" in diameter and 1.5"–20" in width.

Does the ET1680 have a wheel lift?
Yes. It has an integrated, low-profile pneumatic wheel lift, operated by hand without pedals, rated for wheels up to 660 lbs.

What air pressure does the ET1680 need?
120–165 psi (8–12 bar). The 660 lb maximum wheel weight is rated at 8 bar.

Can the ET1680 diagnose runout and vibration?
Yes, with the optional sonar sensors. Corghi says that, once equipped, it can identify and resolve geometric wheel defects that cause vibrations standard balancing can’t fix.
