The Hunter Road Force WalkAway® is a diagnostic wheel balancer that uses a load roller to find and fix vibration problems a standard balancer can't detect. It adds Hunter's WalkAway™ inflation system to the Road Force® Elite platform: the balancer inflates the tire and measures unbalance on its own, freeing the technician for other work. It is designed and built in the USA by Hunter Engineering Company.

WalkAway™ inflation saves time on every changeover

The WalkAway™ system releases the air chuck from the valve stem automatically once inflation is complete. The balancer then inflates and measures unbalance without the technician present. A WalkAway™ timer shows when inflation and measurement will finish.

According to Hunter, WalkAway inflation saves about 10 minutes (29%) of door-to-door time on a four-tire changeover with a standard tire changer. Paired with Hunter tire changers, it saves up to 12 minutes with the Maverick® Pro and up to 15 minutes with the Revolution™.

Diagnostic balancing with Road Force® measurement

• Diagnostic load roller simulates road conditions to find vibration causes beyond imbalance, including tire uniformity (Road Force) problems, rim runout from bent rims, improper bead seating, and tire pull
