Hunter TCX53EPLS Electric Performance Tire Changer with Bead Press System

The Hunter TCX53EPLS is the electric version of Hunter's TCX53 performance table-top tire changer. It runs on either 110V or 220V power, on a compact chassis with a manual swing arm. A patented multi-arm bead press system and press cones come standard for large and challenging tires.

110V or 220V electric drive. The TCX53EPLS runs on standard 110V power or 220V power. Its single-speed table turns at 10 rpm both clockwise and counter-clockwise.

Patented multi-arm bead press system. The bead press makes it faster and easier to clamp, lubricate, demount, and mount tough wheel and tire combinations. It centers on the wheel for simple operation.

• Clamping. Press cones help with external wheel clamping.
• Demounting. A roller creates a gap for lever placement and bead lubrication. A lower disk handles bead re-loosening, and a lifting hook helps with heavy tires.
• Mounting. A single roller arm rotates with the tire to mount many tough tires. A fixed roller arm can be added for the toughest combinations.

Wheel-friendly mount head. The rigid polymer mount head uses Hunter's patented "wing and knob" design to keep the tire in place. It's designed for maximum wheel protection and works with raised-spoke and clad wheels.

PowerOut™ bead loosener. The bead loosener has fingertip control, a three-way adjustable shovel for the best rim fit, and a 16 in. width. Shovel protectors come standard.

Adjustable table-top. The table clamps 10–26 in. externally and 12–28 in. internally. All jaws adjust together. Hi-grip jaw covers protect the wheel, diameter marks help with external clamping, and the polished table-top is easy to clean.

Heavy, rigid build. Non-slip pads keep the machine in place, and the rigid chassis reduces the risk of damage and the effort needed from the operator.

Yes. It runs on 110V single-phase power (14A, NEMA 5-15) or 220V single-phase power (7A, NEMA L6-20P).

Does the TCX53E need compressed air?
Yes. Along with electrical power, it needs an air supply of 110–145 psi.

Does the TCX53E come with a bead press?
Yes. The multi-arm bead press system and press cones are standard.

How is the TCX53E different from the TCX53H and TCX53A?
