The Hunter TCX635PHD is a heavy-duty tire changer optimized for over-the-road truck tires. It services standard truck tires and super singles on steel or aluminum rims, without bars, hammers, or lifting heavy tires. The TCX635PHD is the "plus" version of the TCX635HD. It has the same specifications and adds a mount lever, two ramps, and aluminum jaw covers.

No hammers, no bars, no lifting. The operator rolls the wheel onto the carriage and moves the carriage inward. The machine works close to the ground, which keeps heavy tires at a safe height. The low service height makes the wheel easy to roll on and keeps the tire from falling off during demounting. The two included ramps help roll assemblies onto the machine.

Tulip-style wheel clamp. The clamp secures assemblies quickly and easily with no damage to the wheel. Its versatile jaws hold wheels with small center holes, thick wide-base alloy wheels, centerless wheels, and more. Aluminum jaw covers are included with the TCX635PHD.

Bead-breaking rollers. The rollers break tire beads quickly with no wheel damage. Most tires can be pushed on and off without switching tools. The inner drop roller speeds up service and never has to be removed to make room.

Hydraulic-powered carriage. The hydraulic carriage makes wheel clamp positioning easier. It has a high speed for fast service and a low profile that reduces positioning effort. According to Hunter, the operator can demount a tire in as little as 55 seconds and mount one in as little as 30 seconds:

• Demounting. Loosen the beads with the rollers and lube, then slide the carriage and spin the tire to roll both beads off the rim.
• Mounting. The standard aluminum or steel rim clamps help with mounting, and many standard tires can be double-bead mounted. The included mount lever also helps with mounting.

All-in-one controls. Levers for every operation are housed in one control unit that keeps the operator in a convenient, safe position. The unit pivots for flexibility and adjusts to two heights.

Standard hook for special assemblies. The standard hook attachment mounts and demounts tubed wheels, sharp-edged wheels, and other difficult assemblies without fear of damage.

Match mounting. The TCX635PHD can rotate the tire on the rim. With Hunter's HD Elite™ wheel balancer, the operator can match the tire's stiffest point to the rim's low spot for the smoothest possible ride.

Warranty. Hunter's 3-year warranty covers replacement parts for three years and labor for six months.
