Episode 20: Ascot Rubber Lift Pads for Corvette, Rivian & Mach-E
Some vehicles need a different approach on the rack. In this episode JJ Bock looks at Ascot rubber lift pads sized for vehicles like the Corvette, Rivian, and Mustang Mach-E, where standard lift points do not line up the way techs expect.
JJ covers where the pads fit, why the right pad protects both the vehicle and the technician, and how to work them into your everyday lifting routine.

Hi, I'm JJ Bock, Director of Operations for Rubber-Inc. Welcome to another episode of In Stock With Bock. Today we're talking lifting pads from Rivians to Mustang Mach-Es to the Corvettes. As EV volume continues to grow in independent shops, proper lifting accessories is becoming part of everyday shop equipment and is essential. Let's start with Rivians. Unlike traditional vehicles, Rivians have recessed lifting points hidden under the underbody panels so a standard lift can damage the vehicles if used incorrectly. These lifting pads are designed specifically for the R1-T and R1-S platforms.
Next up, we have the lifting pads for the Ford Mustang Mach-E. Like many EVs, the Mach-E has designated lift points that need extra clearance and protection when lifting the vehicle. Using the correct pads helps avoid contact with battery components and prevents damage to the lower rocker area. Last up, we have the lifting pads for Corvettes. Corvettes lifting pads have been a staple in performance shops for years. Low ground clearance and factory pinch weld points make the Corvette's easy to damage without proper adapters. If your shop is servicing EV or performance vehicles, having these pads in stock keeps your team prepared and protects the customer's investment.
